I started my sewing career long before I began sewing slipcovers in Victoria. My mother worked in a drapery workroom when I was young. I assisted her completing many drapery and bedding projects. I have been addicted to home-decor sewing my whole life.
Since moving to Sidney in 1993, I have specialized in manufacturing washable slipcovers for your quality furniture. This was inspired by my own experience with our West-coast lifestyle and my love of pets – wet and smelly pets. The ability to keep my furniture clean and smelling fresh definitely enhances our life here on Vancouver Island.
My environmental concerns have prompted me to add refurbishing outdoor furniture to my repertoire. The fillers in outdoor cushions are clean and ready to be refreshed once the sun has damaged and faded the covers. I can also create new cushions for chairs such as adirondack and club chairs.
